The aim of this meeting is to foster collaboration between the Schools of Biological Sciences and Health Sciences, and to provide a forum to initiate joint grant applications. We will start the day in the Michael Smith seminar theatre where a number of researchers and academics from across the schools will introduce themselves and their work/research interests. This will be followed by lunch, and a chance to mix with other researchers. After lunch the event will continue with a number of activities designed to introduce like-minded researchers, and the opportunity to discuss research interests.
The meeting will have a general theme of imaging, informatics and machine learning, but researchers and academics from all areas are welcome, whether their work focuses on data generation or analysis.
