Innovate UK and Enterprise Europe Network are inviting innovative organisations to the launch of their flagship Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP) on Digital Healthcare for the Ageing Population on 16th January 2019 in Manchester.
This programme aims at supporting innovative SMEs and research organisations to develop new technology partnerships with like-minded experts in the US to create new innovative technologies and overcome the challenges of an older society. Selected participants will take part in a fully-funded innovation mission to the US at the end of March 2019.
Ageing society has been earmarked as one of UK Government’s “Grand Challenges” in its Industrial Strategy and will receive a share of £300m to harness the power of innovation to meet the evolving needs of an ageing population. Moreover, European Funding through Horizon 2020 is also available to SMEs, research centres or Universities to develop this innovation.
