To mark ten years of The Small Animal Veterinary Surveillance Network (SAVSNET), this event will showcase how the research being done using electronic health data from veterinary practices and laboratories is informing primary veterinary practice.
Day One is a series of talks ranging from an update on vaccination including parvovirus, antimicrobial resistance and antibacterial use, and the role of ticks in disease.
Day Two is an optional practical data lab session for individuals who have been to Day One and want a practical demonstration of practice based research using big data. Delegates to Day Two work on a project of their choice and experience the real power of health informatics research – places to Day Two are limited. Both days are aimed at veterinary surgeons, nurses, those working in industry such as practice management companies and pharmaceutical companies.
