Manchester Ecosystem – GM AHSN Meeting

14th April 2016

9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Citylabs, Nelson St, Manchester, M13 9NQ. United Kingdom.

Improving Health and Social Care through data

Radical changes are underway in Greater Manchester as the devolved annual Health and Social Care budget of £6bn takes effect. Understanding and interpreting healthcare data is key to effective redesign of services and delivery of better health outcomes for our population.

April’s Greater Manchester Connected Health Ecosystem will focus on how GM is using data to support these changes and what is being planned for the coming months. You will have the opportunity to hear from the leaders of these activities including:

  • Health Innovation Manchester- the health and social care innovation arm of DevoManc
  • The newly agreed GM Data Sharing Authority ‘GM Connect’
  • Right Care & the recently released NHS Atlas of Variation in Healthcare. How can Local Authorities & CCGs use this information, and other data sources, to reduce unwarranted variation?

You can book your place now

The Greater Manchester Connected Health Ecosystem brings together academics, industry partners, and healthcare professionals from across the NHS, local government, public health and social care.

We also have a number of free exhibition spaces available for delegates to bring pop-up display banner and materials to the event which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis – register here – which will also allow you to take part in the lunchtime market ‘pitch’

We will provide a small table for you to display your marketing material together with space for a small pull up banner.
