A shared responsibility for system-wide learning

The NIHR Greater Manchester Primary Care Patient Safety Translational Research Centre, in partnership with Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and The University of Manchester is pleased to announce its flagship event, taking place in Manchester on 7 and 8 March 2017. This will address recent developments in patient safety in primary healthcare services and NIHR Greater Manchester PSTRC research outcomes over the last five years.

Confirmed speakers:

  • Professor Charles Vincent, Professor of Psychology at the University of Oxford, NIHR Senior Investigator and Emeritus Professor Clinical Safety Research, Imperial College London
  • Professor Anthony Avery, GP and Dean of the School of Medicine at the University of Nottingham
  • Professor Richard Roberts, GP and international expert and consultant on health system reform and primary care redesign based at the University of Wisconsin and former President of the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA)
  • Professor Aziz Sheikh, Professor of Primary Care Research and Development and Co-Director of Medical Informatics, The University of Edinburgh
